Caught an afternoon movie 'How I spent my summer vacation' with Joshy, we used to catch movies very frequently but ever since I stepped into the working industry, movies can only be caught over the weekends.
Managed to finally convince sweetheart to take a stroll with me down Lower Pierce Reservoir. The weather was humid but we did complete our trail journey.
Nearing the spot where my cousins and I used to catch shrimps and tiny fish with our legs in the water and nets in our hands brought back fond memories.
Every rise of the Sunday sun brings a frown to my face as I know my weekends are near to a closure. The weekdays gradually seem like a drag. I still love my job but yada yada yada yada.
We spent our Saturday at Jones The Grocer. I'm satisfied with my egg benedict but Joshy's croque madame appeared too simple for brunch.
Celebrated Richard's birthday at The AlleyBar. Big group, nice people.
Weekends are terribly precious because it is the only time I get to spend more time with the boy. Funny how time is so limited even before he becomes a soldier. Can't imagine how it will be when the time comes.
Sometimes I just feel like going back to simpler jobs, life would be simpler. Lesser worries and MORE FREEDOM. I'm one who can't accept restrictions.
But well, without aspirations and effort, one will not go far. There is a reason why God placed me there.
