If only your words don't contradict your actions
If only you looked yourself in the mirror and say to yourself the words you said to me
The goodness of my mother and the regrets you can't never reverse
If only you showered that concern and love upon our family instead of your mistress and her family who clearly can't tolerate the way you are as well

If only you bought fruits for our family instead of hers...
If only you offered McDonalds breakfast with us instead of her son/ nephew...You nagged all the time when it was just one burger I'm holding in my hand
If only you bought toys for us when we were younger instead for the boy...
If only you rang up my mother to ask her have a good day ahead instead of telling her to hydrate herself because the weather is terrible...
If only you called my mom sweetheart like how you call her...
These all I sneaked into your phone in the wee hours when you are dead drunk and asleep
I had to do that all the time and read aloud to my mother
I just had to do it all the time although it kills

If only my father was the sober man who came into my room just..The man who spoke from his heart that made sense
The father who offered to settle fixings and mending in the house just before he leaves us, could have been a dutiful father before he's losing us

Nobody wants to lose their husband or father but we are letting you go because it means better for each and every one of us

I saw tears in your eyes as you held my hand and closed your eyes in despair
Through your hugs I felt your pain
I know how hard it is for you
But you made it happen
Chances don't come by forever

Pardon me but this is pure human nature no matter how soft-hearted I am
