Why is it only when calamity hits me then all His goodness suddenly becomes way more significant
The guilt strikes in me, all my wrong doings became clear
Desperate to hold onto a floating branch, I find solace in the word of God and have a heart of repentance as I face Him in church
When will my religion maintain that level it's supposed to weigh in my heart

They say, you place your faith in others and people will always fail you
So true, ejects tears from my eyes
So true, I got my heart broken, my best(est) friend failed me thoroughly

They say, place your faith in God and you will never go wrong
Cause God never fails
When will it be, that I truly hear His voice, speaking to me

I fell
I'm gonna pick up myself from the canal, the abyss that I whole-footedly stepped in
I'm not gonna throw myself into despair

So please let me off, let the entire issue blow over
This is mental torture
